Brits Abroad Must Register To Vote By June 18th
The General Election in the UK is happening on July 4th this year. British voters will decide if Rishi Sunak or Sir Keir Starmer will be occupying 10 Downing Street.
Brits living in Spain can vote in the election by registering for a postal or proxy vote. Registration must be completed by June 18th, then the deadline to register for a postal vote is 6pm in Spain on the 19th June, and for a proxy vote the deadline is 6pm in Spain on the 26th June.
How To Register For Postal Or Proxy Vote
Registering to vote can be done through the government’s website, and takes about 5 minutes. Once completed, you can then register for a postal vote by clicking here, or for a proxy vote by clicking here.
