Butane Bottles Costing Less On The Costa Del Sol

The price of butane gas cylinders is reviewed every two months, and has fallen for the third consecutive time.  A 12.5kg cylinder of butane gas now costs €15.46 here on the Costa Del Sol.  This is nealy a 5% fall from the previous price.

The bi-monthly price revisions are calculated on the varying costs of raw materials internationally, along with the cost of freight and the euros to dollars exchange rate.

Butane Gas Use In Spain

Around 6 million households in Spain use butane gas for cooking, and heating water.  For many living in rural areas or outside of the main cities who are not connected to the main gas supply it is the only practical energy option available.
