Casares Forest Fire Brought Under Control
On Tuesday afternoon a fire broke out near Casares on the Costa Del Sol. Firefighters battled through the night to bring the blaze under control. INFOCA announced that the fire had been stabilised and controlled at 11.45am today (Wednesday 24th July), and crews are now working to dampen down the affected areas.

16 Aircraft Battled The Blaze
16 aircraft and more that 170 specialist firefighters have been involved in the operation to control this forest fire. No injuries have been reported. Weather conditions remain hot and dry, you can see the full forecast at www.global.fm/weather

The fire was declared “Under Control” at 11.45am on Wednesday 24th July.
