Coronavirus Curfew Ending In Andalucia
The state of alarm in Spain is set to end on the 9th of May. When this happens Andalucia will no longer force citizens to abide by an 11pm to 6am curfew. Juanma Moreno, the Regional President, explained today during a speech that there is no doubt about the abolition of the curfew. He also hinted at plans to further ease restrictions in Andalucia.
Hospitality Opening Hours
On Friday the regional government will finalise the rules that will affect Andalucia from the 9th May. Moreno said that approval has been sought at a national level to maintain municipal border closures, where the incidence rate remains greater than 500 cases per 100,000 people. There will also be a progressive extension of opening hours for businesses, including bars and restaurants. This will happen in two stages, though the President didn’t give any further details when questioned.
Restrictions to the number of people allowed at public events and gatherings, including terraces and indoor spaces at bars and restaurants, will be clarified at a meeting of the regional government on Friday.
