Face Masks Remain Mandatory In Spain

Spain is one of the few countries in Europe where face masks still have to be worn on pubic transport and flights.  Today the Health Minister has confirmed that the rules here will not be changing yet.

Carolina Darias said “We have always taken decisions based on the advice of experts and that is what we will continue to do” as she arrived in Brussels for meetings . Ms. Darias also stressed the importance of caution at this time of year, pointing out that respiratory viruses thrive during the winter months.
