Fire Destroys Olivia’s Restaurant In La Cala
A popular beachfront restaurant in La Cala De Mijas has been devastated by fire. Emergency services were called to Olivia’s this morning after neighbours spotted smoke pouring from the building. The fire broke out at around 5.30am, it was quickly brought under control and completely extinguished by 7.30am. The upper lounge, dining room, and bar areas have suffered the worst damage. The kitchen area has not been touched by the fire.

Investigation Being Opened
Nobody was inside the building at the time of the fire. Emergency services has confirmed that there have been no injuries. The cause of the blaze has not been determined. An investigation is being opened.
No one was injured in the blaze at Olivias´s.
Olivia’s Restaurant is owned and run by TV star Elliot Wright and his partner. The venue has been used as the location for TV show “Playa In Marbella” which also starred Elliot.
