Huge Costa Del Sol Fire Extinguished.  A blaze which triggered a Level One Emergency in Casares has now been extinguished.

Huge Costa Del Sol Fire Extinguished

A huge fire which broke out near Casares on the Costa Del Sol last night has now been extinguished.  The blaze was so bad that a Level One Emergency was declared.  Six helicopters, two fire engines, and 120 fire fighters tackled the blaze which raged through the night.

120 fire fighters tackled the blaze overnight.

Families Evacuated

One house was completely engulfed by the fire, and 24 families had to be evacuated.  No injuries have been reported.

24 families were evacuated as the fire spread.
