Malaga Airport Passenger Numbers Soaring High
A new record for visitor numbers at Malaga aiport has been set! Figures just released show that 26,760,549 travellers used Malaga airport last year . This is a 7.4% increase on the previous year, and sets a new record for the airport. 186,990 aircraft landed and took off from the airport, which also handled a record breaking 6,255,861 pieces of luggage!
The UK remains the biggest source of travellers using Malaga airport.
United Kingdom Has Highest Number Of Travellers
The UK continues to be the number one travel link with Malaga, as 6,149,697 passengers took flights between Malaga and Great Britain. Germany had the second highest number of travellers at just over 2 million, with the Netherlands in third spot with 1.6 million travellers. The fastest growing link with Malaga is now the United Arab Emirates which recorded a huge 75.7% increase in the number of people using Malaga airport in 2025.
