Malaga Man Raising Money For Ukraine
A local lad with autism will be walking a half marathon to raise money for Ukrainian refugees. 20 year old Paulo White Muñoz from Malaga has decided to walk a half marathon to help those affected by the war. Due to his ASD Paulo has been experiencing severe anxiety over the current situation, and felt that taking positive action to help would benefit both his own mental health and those who have been devastated by the conflict. Paulo’s father Carlos White told 93.6 Global Radio “I feel so incredibly proud of Paulo. He has come so far, and is very motivated to help people from Ukraine”.
Benalmadena To Malaga
Paulo will be walking a half marathon on the 30th April. Beginning at 10am at the Sunset Beach Hotel close to his father’s home, Paulo will walk to the Maria Zambrano shopping centre in Malaga which is close to his mother’s home. Walking for almost 22 kilometres, Paulo expects the fundraiser to take him about four hours. At the finish line he will be met by friends, teachers and classmates from his special needs school, the Universidad Laboral.
