Spain’s national weather agency (AEMET) has issued an updated yellow weather warning for gale force 7 winds. The warning comes into effect at 6pm today (Saturday 30th March) and remains in place until 8am on Easter Sunday.

Gale force 7 winds could reach speeds of up to 60km/h and waves can reach heights of 3 metres at times.

Waves can reach heights of 3 metres during a force 7 storm.

The storms will continue on and off throughout the weekend, with temperatures reaching highs of 16c on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday the rain is expected to make way for a generally sunny day.
