Three Health Checkpoints For Brits Arriving In Spain
As Brits begin to arrive on the Costa Del Sol following the reopening of Spain’s borders, concerns about transmitting the coronavirus and a second wave have been addressed by the government. Health Minister Salvador Illa has announced that all arrivals into Spain’s airports must pass three health checks.
The first check involves completing a form which asks if the traveller has had COVID-19, and requires a contact address for the duration of their stay in Spain. The second check is temperature test, and the third is a visual inspection by a trained health worker. If any of these three checkpoints are not completed, the traveller will be examined by a doctor.
600 New Border Staff
The Health Minister confirmed that over 600 people have been employed to carry out these checks, and every single person entering Spain will be subjected to all three checks.
