TOWIE Star Jake Hall Marbella Stabbing Update
Jake Hall is visiting Marbella and Puerto Banus with friends and co-stars from The Only Way Is Essex. He was caught up in a gang related incident at popular Puerto Banus nightclub Aqwa Mist.
We are now learning that Jake Hall was stabbed in the kidney with a broken champagne bottle. He was rushed to hospital in Marbella and underwent emergency surgery to save his kidney. He is now described as being “in a stable condition”.
The brawl broke out between two rival expat gangs, from London and Liverpool. Jake was partying with members of the group of expats from Liverpool. The trouble began on Sunday 29th May when one of the Londoners threw a bottle which hit the girlfriend of a rival gang member. Things escalated and then a fight broke out in the early hours of Monday this week. Broken champagne bottles and shisha pipes were being used as makeshift weapons.
After the stabbing, Jake was rushed to a nearby car and driven to hospital by a friend where he was placed on life support. An eye witness, Laura Wohlgemuth, said “Jake ran out into a car. Blood was everywhere”. She goes on to describe how things then carried on as normal at the nightclub. “We thought we weren’t going to get in but they just got a hose out and washed away the blood.”
Spanish Police and a specialist violent crimes unit are now questioning Hall about the incident. His spokesman has remained tight lipped, saying only that Jake had been admitted to hospital but not confirming why.
