The Yellow weather warnings in place for the Costa Del Sol have been extended. The warnings now remain active throughout Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the 28th January.

The weather warnings from AEMET (Spain’s national weather agency) are specifically for strong winds on the coast. Wind speeds have been reaching force 7, which is around 60km/h. Waves during a force 7 storm can reach 3 metres.

Red: Take action. Extreme weather is expected. Red means people in the concerned areas should take action now to keep themselves and others safe from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, travel and power disruption and risk to life is likely.
