Extra Day For The Fuengirola Feria

Extra Day For The Fuengirola Feria – torrential rain and storms prevented many people from enjoying the Feria on Friday and Saturday

Extra Day For The Fuengirola Feria

The Fuengirola International Feria will now run until 2nd of May 2017.  Organisers have extended the event by a day, to try and make up for the disastrous start to the festival.  Torrential rain and storms meant that parades and events had to be cancelled last week, and visitors stayed away from the Feria.

The sunshine returned yesterday (Sunday 30th April) and revellers flocked to the feria ground in central Fuengirola to enjoy the food, drink, and entertainment from around the world.  Local electrician Mark Crowther said “It usually takes more than a little rain to stop us Brits from enjoying ourselves, but the weather was so bad last week it really spoiled the feria fun.  I’m glad that there will be an extra day.  It’s good for the local businesses who have invested so much time and money into the event”.
