Marbella Hit And Run
Marbella Hit And Run – the victim of a hit and run in Marbella has died from her injuries in hospital. Bolivian mother of three Fatima Dorado Para was walking home from her job at a restaurant in Marbella. She was mowed down by a Bentley driven by a British man.
The driver of the Bentley, Westley Capper, has been arrested by Spanish police. It is thought that he went for a curry with his passenger following the fatal crash.
Capper has not yet been charged, though it is customary for charges not be made until just before a trial begins. The 38 year old, born in Essex, has been detained by a Marbella judge after a closed door court hearing. Court sources said the judge would probe him on suspicion of committing four crimes – manslaughter due to negligence, failure to aid his alleged victim and driving under the influence of alcohol as well as an offence relating to false documentation.
Cappper is the son of a British property tycoon, and is already facing trial over the disappearance of Agnese Klavina. Agnese was reported missing after a night out at Puerto Banus nightclub Aqwa Mist.
