New Cases Of Coronavirus Plummet In Spain.  The number of new infections, and the number of daily deaths from coronavirus in Spain have both dropped dramatically.

New Cases Of Coronavirus Plummet In Spain

Yesterday Spain recorded 469 new cases of coronavirus.  This figure is a steep drop from the previous day’s total which was 1214, and is dwarfed by the 8271 new daily infections recorded at the peak of the outbreak.

The number of daily deaths recorded is also at it’s lowest since the 16th of March.  Yesterday’s death toll was 59 people.  Spain has now registered 278,188 cases of coronavirus, with 27,709 deaths and 196,958 recoveries.

Coronavirus In Andalucia

The Malaga area is now in phase one of the easing of the lockdown.  In Andalucia there have been 16,457 cases of the coronavirus, with 1358 fatalities.  The total number of infections in the Malaga area is 4122,  with 278 recorded deaths.
