Yellow Weather Warning For The Costa Del Sol. Spain’s national weather agency has activated a yellow alert for heavy rain this afternoon.

The rainfall on the Costa Del Sol has been heavy enough today to warrant a yellow weather warning. Spain’s national weather agency have placed the area on yellow alert for continuous heavy rain until this evening. Although the conditions are not as bad as those experienced during Storm Filomena, experts are still predicting 15mm of rain per hour this afternoon.

Types Of Weather Warnings

Red: Take action. Extreme weather is expected. Red means people in the concerned areas should take action now to keep themselves and others safe from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, travel and power disruption and risk to life is likely.
