Malaga Province Incidence Rate Rising
The 14 day accumulated incidence rate in Malaga Province is the highest in Andalucia. Today it stands at 841.3 cases per 100,000 people, which is considerably higher than the regional rate for the whole of Andalucia. That number is now 554.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Due to the rising coronavirus numbers, recently the regional government took the decision to keep Andalucia in phase one of the programme to reduce the restrictions. The Costa Del Sol health district has recently been moved to alert level three because of the high accumulated incidence rate.
