Official Weather Warning Torrential Rain
A yellow weather warning for torrential rain on the Costa Del Sol is in place until 8pm this evening (Sunday 21st May). The weather warning from Spain’s national weather agency AEMET is reporting accumlated rainfall of 20mm per hour at the moment. Thunderstorms will continue to hit the Costa Del Sol whilst the warning remains in effect.

Red: Take action. Extreme weather is expected. Red means people in the concerned areas should take action now to keep themselves and others safe from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, travel and power disruption and risk to life is likely.
