200 people have gathered in the main square at Barbate near Cadiz, to mourn the six year old boy who died trying to reach Spain.  His body was discovered washed ashore near the lighthouse on Friday.  He has since been identified as six year old Samuel from the Democratic Republic Of Congo.

Strait of Gibraltar

Samuel was trying to cross the Strait Of Gibraltar with his mother in an inflatable boat.  They were making the journey to Spain from Morocco.  The UN refugee agency believes that more than 20,000 people have died trying to reach Spain from Morocco since 1988.
