An amber weather warning for torrential rain is in place this afternoon (3rd March) on the Costa Del Sol. The alert is active until 6pm. Spain’s national weather agency AEMET is predicting accumulated rainfall of 25mm an hour during the warning period. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also expected. Amber is the second most severe of the three warning levels.
