Andalucia Registers Five New Deaths

Andalucia continues to battle the coronavirus, as the latest figures provide encouragement for the region.  On Wednesday only five new COVID-19 deaths were recorded, a huge reduction from the peak of 77 on the 8th of April.  The region registered 35 new cases of the virus yesterday.

The figures for Spain continue to remain low.  Yesterday the total number of new confirmed cases was 510, with 280 deaths registered.  These figures are a steep drop from the peak of the outbreak, when 8271 new daily infections were recorded.  Spain has now registered 283,849 cases of coronavirus, with 27,118 deaths .

Coronavirus In Malaga

The Malaga area is currently in phase one of the easing of the lockdown.  The total number of infections in the Malaga area is 4475  with 285 recorded deaths.
