Some regional governments, including Andalucia, expressed concern that the decision was being taken at a national level.

Juanma Moreno is encouraging people to continue wearing masks.
Wearing Face Masks In Andalucia
Today the Regional President of Andalucia has said that the the region will respect the government’s decision. However, Juanma Moreno is encouraging people to continue wearing face masks. “The Andalusian Government will not to force anyone to remove the mask. We recommend that they continue to be used as a preventive measure”.
“We all want to return to the previous normality, but it’s not reasonable that such a high-level and long-awaited decision has been made unilaterally” Moreno said. “The public are not fooled, removing the mask does not mean that Covid has disappeared.”
