Coronavirus Cases Triple In Spain.  In the last two weeks the number of new coronavirus cases in Spain has tripled according to the WHO.

Coronavirus Cases Triple In Spain

Since the 3rd of July the number of daily new coronavirus cases in Spain has tripled.  The level is now equal to the number of cases when the lockdown restrictions were partially lifted.  Nationally there were 1527 new cases recorded yesterday.  The main areas affected by localised outbreaks have been Catalunya and the Basque Country.

311,916 Confirmed Cases In Spain

Since the first outbreak of coronavirus was detected, Spain has 311,916 cases with 28,422 deaths.  In Andalucia there has been 13,731 confirmed cases with 1,435 deaths.  There are currently only 45 patients in hospital with covid-19 in the Andalucia.  The region continues to fight the spread of the virus, with tough new rules for wearing masks in public.  Read more about this here.
