Malaga And Marbella Reopening Businesses
Marbella and Malaga City are amongst the 20 municipalities in Malaga Province which can reopen non-essential businesses on Saturday. These municipalities have now fallen below the cumulative incidence rate threshold of 1000 infections per 100,000 people. Although bars, restaurants, shops, and non-essential businesses can reopen after midnight tonight (Friday into Saturday 13th February), their perimeter borders must remain closed. The municipalities are:
- Alameda
- Alfarnate
- Arriate
- Benamocarra
- Canillas de Albaida
- Casares
- Coín
- Cartajima
- Cortes de la Frontera
- El Borge
- Estepona
- Faraján
- Genalguacil
- Malaga City
- Marbella
- Ojén
- Pizarra
- Teba
- Vélez-Málaga
- Villanueva de Tapia
Alongside municipal border closures, the other restrictions currently being enforced are:
- All non-essential shops and businesses must close at 6pm
- All bars, restaurants, and cafeterias to close at 6pm
- Social gatherings limited to 4 people
- Curfew in place from 10pm to 6am
