Malaga will not be following new national guidelines for Christmas lights events in Spain.  The city council have confirmed that the famous display will be be switched on this year on Saturday 26th November, and continue to run throughout December.

There will be some energy saving measures affecting the Malaga Christmas lights display this year.  The lights will be switched on half an hour later than usual each day, and switched off two hours earlier on weekdays.  The new display times are 6.30pm to midnight during the week, and 6.30pm to 2am at the weekends.
