The 14 day accumulated incidence rate for covid-19 in Malaga Province continues to fall, it is now 61 cases per 100,000 people. This is still slightly higher than the rate for Andalucia as a whole, which has now fallen to 51.5 cases per 100,000 people. Three deaths have been recorded in Malaga Province during the last day.

Returning To Normal
Yesterday the Junta De Andalucia announced that health districts with an accumulated incidence rate below 50 will be placed in level 0 from the 1st October. This will mean no restrictions on opening hours for businesses, bars, and restaurants. Capacity limits will also be removed. These health districts will still be required to comply with face mask and social distancing rules. The Costa Del Sel health district is currently at alert level one with an incidence rate still above the 50 cases threshold.
