More Malaga Province Municipalities Reopening Borders. Marbella, Estepona, and Ronda are amongst the municipalities which are reopening their borders.
More Malaga Province Municipalities Reopening Borders
As more Malaga province municipalities are reopening their borders, only three remain with restrictions in place. The BOJA published by the Junta De Andalucia today allows 9 municipalities to reopen their borders after midnight (Friday 26th February into Saturday 27th February).
These municipalities are:
- Algatocín
- Cortes de la Frontera
- Estepona
- Gaucín
- Manilva
- Marbella
- Ojén
- Ronda
- Villanueva del Trabuco
The three remaining municipalities in Malaga Province where border closures are still in place are:
- Árchez (779)
- Benaoján (757)
- Montejaque (1,791)
Non essential businesses remain closed in Montejaque as the incidence rate remains above 1000 cases per 100,000 people.

Regional restrictions remain in place in Andalucia.
Regional Restrictions In Andalucia
Restrictions which remain in place throughout Andalucia, regardless of the incidence rates, are the closure of all non-essential businesses (including bars and restaurants) at 6pm, a 10pm curfew, a maximum of 4 people at social gatherings, and alcohol sales in shops and supermarkets are restricted after 10pm.
