New Infections Fall Again In Andalucia
The coronavirus infection numbers have fallen by almost 50% in Andalucia. However the incidence rate over the last 14 days has risen to 919.19 cases of covid-19 per 100,000 people.
During the last 24 hours there have been 3676 new cases of coronavirus detected in Andalucia (2950 fewer than the previous day), with 82 deaths recorded. In the Malaga Province there have been 13 deaths, and 686 new infections. There are 942 people in hospital, 97 of those are in the intensive care units.
The regional government continues to impose border closures on municipalities in Malaga Province where the incidence rate is greater than 500 per 100,000. The latest announcement of new closures is expected later today. Non-essential businesses are closed in municipalities where the incidence rate is greater than 1000 per 100,000.
