Wearing face masks indoors is no longer mandatory in Spain.  The publication today of the BOE confirms the latest relaxation of the covid prevention rules.  Earlier this year the rule requiring masks to be worn outdoors was scrapped, and now the indoor requirement has also been removed.

There are some exceptions to today’s rule change.  Face masks must still be worn inside hospitals, medical centres, residential care homes, pharmacies, and on public transport.
