Temperatures Will Soar This Weekend

Andalucia is bracing for a heatwave this weekend, with temperatures expected to reach 43c on Saturday. Spain’s national weather agency AEMET has issued an amber weather warning for the Guadalhorce valley on Saturday, whilst the hottest temperatures will be felt in Seville and Cordoba.

The Costa Del Sol will feel the heat over the next few days. Temperatures will rise to 35c on Friday, and should reach 40c on Saturday and Sunday in Malaga and Marbella.

Types Of Weather Warnings

Red: Take action. Extreme weather is expected. Red means people in the concerned areas should take action now to keep themselves and others safe from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, travel and power disruption and risk to life is likely.
