Three Days Of Mourning In Fuengirola

Fuengirola Town Hall have declared three days of mourning in remembrance of two people people who died in a fire.  The tragedy happened on Monday afternoon at 1.15pm when a fire broke out in a fifth floor apartment on Avenida Miramar.

The victims were a 42 year old man and his 67 year old father.  Their names have not yet been released.  Five other people were taken to hospital.  Two of them are in intensive care with life threatening injuries.  Firefighters from Mijas, Benalmadena, and Fuengirola along with local police, national police, and the Guardia Civil took battled the blaze for several hours.
