Friday Weather Warnings. Spain’s national weather agency has issued yellow weather warnings for torrential rain and gale force winds on the Costa Del Sol.

Spain’s national weather agency AEMET has issued yellow weather warnings for the Costa Del Sol. The warnings are for torrential rain and gale force 7 winds (which could reach speeds of 70kmh). The warnings are in place on Friday (12th December) from 12pm until midnight.

Accumulated rainfall of 40mm during a 12 hour period is being predicted. Thunderstorms are also expected. Yellow is the least severe of the three warning levels.

Red: Take action. Extreme weather is expected. Red means people in the concerned areas should take action now to keep themselves and others safe from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, travel and power disruption and risk to life is likely.
