In Andalucia there are twelve public holidays in 2024. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it is usually moved to the following Monday. Whilst these days are still celebrated on the Sunday, the Monday will be a working holiday with most shops, banks and many businesses staying closed.

- New Year’s Day Holiday
Monday January 1st. - Three Kings Day
Saturday, January 6th. Three Kings Day is perhaps a bigger event than Christmas on the Costa Del Sol, as families celebrate the arrival of the three kings by giving gifts and attending local events. - Andalucia Day
Wednesday, February 28th. Andalucia Day. A regional bank holiday commemorating the 1980 referendum. - Maundy Thursday
