More Than 2 Million People Used Malaga Airport In March

Malaga Airport has recorded another record month of passenger numbers in March.  2,076,522 travellers used the airport, which is an increase of 9.4% compared to March 2025.  The increase is party due to the ACE high speed train disruptions causing domestic passengers to travel by air, and also the Easter weekend falling in March this year.

Flights between Malaga and the UK brought the highest number of travellers.

Flights To And From The UK Have The Highest Numbers

During March 363,515 passengers travelled to and from airports within Spain, and 1,709,336 were international travellers.  Once again there were more flights to and from the UK than any other destination, with 435,352 people passing through Malaga airport.  There were 164,408 passengeris travelling between Malaga and Germany, 123,546 between Malaga and Holland, 98,646 between Malaga and Italy, 90,722 between Malaga and Ireland,  88,957 between Malaga and Poland, and  and 87,677 between Malaga and France.
