Firstly, Lloydi has left us. It’s very sad, we know, and we wish it weren’t true, but she has decided to sail off into the sunset. Of course, we wish her all the best in everything she decides to do and want her to know that she will always be welcome back here at Global. Good luck Clare!

One of the biggest, dance-related corruption cases has been exposed – right here on the Costa del Sol!
It’s amazing what some people will do to win. Obviously we don’t want to name names (we’ll leave that to jivespain.com!), but it has come to light that some of the upcoming Media Celebrity Dance Competition competitors have been BRIBING – yes, BRIBING – people to vote for them! We say, that’s bad.
Well, Global haven’t tried to bribes anyone. But then, we don’t need to, because we’re going to win anyway!

JiveSpain Media Celebrity Dance Competition.
Global Radio is proud to be entering our own team to the Media Celebrity Dance Competition, organised by JiveSpain.com!
Many of the Costa’s radio stations, newspapers and magazines are entering teams in to this fantastic competition, with the Grand Finale set for the 15th of December.
From their choice of JiveSpain venues; Calahonda, San Pedro, Estepona or Duquesa, our celebrity dancers will be learning to dance, one evening each week, over a twelve week period, in preparation for a “Strictly Come Dancing” style competition on the dance floor of the glamorous “Restaurant TikiTano” at a spectacular Christmas Party on the 15th of December.

We recently received an email from a lady in Novosibirsk City (yes, we had to Google Map it, too), called Shulzhenko Elena Sergeevna.
Elena is a school teacher and was, one day, showing the children the internet and all that it offers. Looking for some music sites, she found us and wrote in to let us know!
