The best music, the best sport, the best chat… that’s Global Radio.
Here at Global Radio, we bring you the best entertainment – music, chat, competitions, local news and events and great sports coverage. Our DJs love music – that’s why they’re DJs!. Our football coverage is not for the feint-hearted. If you’re passionate about football, you really need to listen to The Super Scoreboard Sports Show, every Saturday afternoon, broadcast LIVE from Our Bar, Calahonda.
Global Radio are frequently involved with local venues – bars, restaurants, etc. – for outside broadcasts (OBs). They’re always a great time and a great way to promote your bar/club and always an excellent afternoon.
Advertise your Local Event on Global Radio
Or just let us know what you’re doing! Let Global know and we’ll do our best to organise a ‘shout-out’. The more interesting your event – the more likely we’ll mention it! Charity Event, Car Boot Sale, Themed Night, Live Act, just about anything.
Most week days, there’ll be something to won (even if it’s just a shout-out). Dinners out, household goods, ticket to gigs, shows and local attractions… it’s all up for grabs, from time to time. Check back from time to time or listen on 93.6fm.
We’re happy to say that we’re now working with The Sentinella – the mag that fits in to your bag – and will be bringing you the highlights from each month’s edition. You’ll find The Sentinella in most places – bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. – around the Málaga area. It’s a good read.
Since losing English TV earlier in the year, I’ve watched nothing but CNN. It’s driving me mad. If you have sorted out your television, let us know. Tell others who’s good, what’s bad.
I’ve read a few times about 2014 being the warmest and/or driest year since records began in 18-something-or-other. So unless there’s a bunch of thunderous torrents in the next couple of weeks, we’re in for a dry, dry summer. Try not to flick cigarette ends out of the car window. The Bill’ll nab you for it, too.
And while we’re talking about the summer, don’t forget your sun tan lotion. “Slip, slop, slap.”, as the Australians say.
